Myrtle Beach was relaxing enough to have left me without a single strong memory this year; I don't mind much, the weather wasn't great and I really needed the down time. My one regret is that Michelle wasn't able to come but in these circumstances I know it's better that she went home.

The main point of this post however is Flickr! It hosts pictures with amazing resolution and is just an all around great tool for hosting your best pictures - it limits your uploading to 20Mb a month, so you have to be choosy. However once the photos are up it doesn't restrict you in terms of space. I know that many of you use facebook (I still will with many more photos) but think of this as the site for your elite photos - plus I can order prints and I've been wanting some photos to post up. You all should use it and then connect with mine. Do as I say.

Doesn't this guy just crack you up? Thank god no one took him seriously... If they had, could you imagine what might have happened?

(For the record, yes, I do understand that the accumulation of ancestral (primitive) wealth through inheritance is a problem in an 'equal opportunity' capitalistic society as it creates initial inequality in means between those born into different classes. But seriously - Marx is a hoot.)

Besides Wednesday night I don’t think I’ve had more than three or four hours of uninterrupted sleep in a row, and I’m reasonably sure my cat naps average closer to between one and two. In addition none of my sleep seems to fall between the hours of midnight and 7am. Mind you, this isn’t actually a particularly poor way to spend my life and for most of it I’m fully awake, but I’m eager to resume a relatively normal sleeping pattern at Myrtle Beach tomorrow even though my napping partner won’t be able to join me.
